Sts. Henri, Morph & Swichoot on leadershift
Somehow I have to synthesize these two definitions:
"The Christian leader of the future is called to be completely irrelevant and to stand in this world with nothing to offer but his or her vulnerable self.” -Henri Nouwen
"I think the most valuable thing any leader can do is morph the outlook of the congregation toward the exhiliration of risk and outlandish possibilities of God"
-Ron Martoia, "Morph"
And I am soundtracking my synthesis to Switchfoot's lyric-lament-confession-prayer:
"You are everything that's that's fair in love and war."
