Colbert responds to "the Bible is a lot messier than we learned in Sunday School":
Colbert here seems like so many others of his ilk: Pushy about the Bible, picking out extreme examples to highlight, and then demanding that if you claim to believe in God then you therefore MUST believe in every last detail in the Bible. And, of course, he gets some details wrong, but because it's him, that doesn't seem to matter.
hum is all I have to say to this. I am not sure what I think.
