Sermon on Mount/Great Commission

I have heard it suggested that Anabaptists are uniquely poised to "get" the connectedness, and equal weight, if you will, of

• (what we have problematically called) The Sermon on the Mount and
  
• (what we have problematically called) the Great Commission.

Thomas Smith, at this link, helpfully connects the twain, by way of Bosch,
and also challenges us to take his quick test regrading our favorite way to opt out/cop out on actually following the former (and thus, the latter, I might add).
