warped seeing
From Seed Magazine:
"Lisa Randall first saw Chuck Hoberman's work while on a ski trip in Utah last spring. His famous Hoberman Arch, which opens in the same way an eye dilates, is the centerpiece of Salt Lake City's Olympic Medals Plaza. Hoberman's unique use of shape, scale, and dimension in his transformable designs seemed richly analogous with Randall's use of extra dimensions and warped geometries in her research on the nature of the universe. Seed invited them to explore this conceptually common ground....(Including "What is the definition of 'see'?)"
