Dougsploitation is a Friend of Jesus

Since I am among the first to caution Christians about "FW:fw:FW:FW;fw"-ing those urban myths; especially those designed to make Christians look stupid and gullible..

..I must backup about the post on the viral video by Sonseed, "Jesus is a Friend of Mine" (David Crowder is a Friend of Mine )
assuming that the online interview with the lead singer was legit....and the video was legit.

If you have the time and want to follow the debate:
check out a videographer (if he's real..gee how do we know if anyone is real online...Tip to reader: I am not real) who is sure it's fake; or try "Sonseed: They May Be The Lonelygirl15 Of Christian Ska" .

If anyone has time or interest, one potential way to solve this could be to contact any of the alleged former band members mentione below; especially the organist and ex wife of the singer, and now a prof at University of Washington:

unfortunately, is not. Our dear friend Nick Sciarra passed way around 15
years ago. Frank Franco is now a grandpa and is a computer
programmer. He also still plays guitar in an oldies band (Reparata and the
Dell Rons I believe). Joe Ciccone left the ad game some time ago and
became a Paulist priest. Last I heard he was stationed at Clemson
University.Doug: I'm sorry to hear about Nick. What about the organist
lady?Sal: Oh yeah, and Patricia Costagliola. We were married from 1978 to
1989 (no kids, thank God). After Sonseed Frank, Nick and myself
became Patricia's back up band as we continued for the next few years playing
her original inspirational music. Although we didn't do the "married"
thing well we always got along professionally. Patricia
recorded two albums "Walk Forward" and "Give Your Love Away" which were pretty amazing. I can't believe she didn't "make it". She is now a
Professor at The University of Washington (Doctor Patricia Costa) and is doing
well.

Of course the catch is, she probably has an unlisted number by now.

I may have been suckered by wanting to trust anyone wanting to expose..heck, even recognize Christian cheese...especially when the blogger presents himself as a nonChristian, gay, tracker of culture.

That's a kind of guy I want to trust to be honest.

One comment: the pretty obvious sexual innuendos are not uncommon in the 'real thing." Nadia Sarcastic Lutheran comments on watching a certain program on TBN, "There is no way this (sublimated Christian homoeriticism) is accidental."("Salvation on the Small Screen," p.137.

Either way, that song and video are"even better than the real thing"..
prophetic simulcra even if/especially if/only if fake..

and besides, Jesus is a friend of mine.
