Kevin G. Ford, Transforming Church, offers "transition" as:
(a) from consumerism to community;
(b) from incongruence to code;
(c) from autocracy to shared leadership;
(d) from cloister to missional;
(e) from inertia to reinvention.
I haven't read the book; so not sure what he means by "code." Seems to be "personality," culture or DNA..
