"Special Needs Boy Removed From Worship: Can the values of entertainment and hospitality coexist?"  by Skye Jethani

I saw/felt this coming in the early 90s when visiting a megachurch..the usher greeted us first-timers (im)politely with refusing to let us bring our (non-crying, non-special needs) son into the service, as he might disrupt..

I'm still looking for Jesus/
singing out  on this lonely street.

  1. Sadly this also works with homelessness. I recall a church to which I took one of my hostel residents some years ago. That led to the humiliation of the young woman who was publicly humiliated for what she was wearing and her inability to put anything in the collection plate. I had a public row with a Steward and never went back there again. Neither did she.
