Dead Sea Scroll chiasm

Although chiasmania is easy to catch, I do enjoy trainspotting chiasm--especially in the Bible, but also in  literature like the U2 canon ( "the sick stay healthy, and the sick stay poor')..

But I didn't realize it had been utilized visually in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Not sure of the chiasm is just in the visual arrangement , or is literary (as in reverse parallelism of words/themes) as well  out the text (can't make out the text in photo).
Surprisingly, not much online about it except this.

  1. This is very interesting. I'd love to learn more. Learning more, my interest grows. :-)

  2. Hi. This picture is upside down because the text is upside down!

Hey, thanks for engaging the conversation!
